So we teased this last week, finally here a day late, but we are getting it to you, our NBA

coaches' rankings.

And John, are you just like incredibly excited for this and to receive

all the feedback that's going to come from this episode? I'm sure we're going to piss off

somebody. Well, and on that note, I think it is worth saying here that obviously there are 30

coaches. There are some that we're going to rank

at the bottom of the league but compared to even you know five years ago certainly 10 years ago

my note is there are i don't think there really anywhere you're just like oh man this guy's just a

straight up bad coach right i i feel confident that this guy is doing a bad job and

like he really needs to be replaced immediately. There used to be a lot of coaches like that.

I don't feel that way any longer. There's not really, I agree with you. When I was listening

them out, I was surprised because I was trying to figure out who to list at the bottom and I couldn't

really come up with someone who was, like, definitely deserving of that.

Whereas, you know, I think in other years, you know, there's been sort of these like Isaiah Thomas level punching bags where it was easy to pick out who belonged at the very bottom.

And I think it's a lot harder now.

So this is a story that might amused.

I don't know if I ever told you this.

Danny and I last did this about two years ago.

That's the only other time I ever tried this endeavor.

And as we were recording it, the news came out that Jason Kidd had been fired.

Well, somebody agreed with your choice at the bottom then, huh?
