Some news on Trey Lance some injuries we want to talk DB here, what that is shaping up to be for the 49ers

roster as cut-down day looms. But first, some bad news in this press release from the 49ers today, and a statement from linebacker's coach Johnny Holland.

He said, it has been an emotional few years for me and my family in September of 2019.

I was diagnosed with multiple my Loma and have gone through several rounds of

remission and relapse. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned and

beginning on September 6th I will take some time away from the team to receive

treatment.

In sharing the details of my diagnosis, my desire

is that I can be an advocate and beacon of hope

for those who are battling cancer

to remind them that we're all in this together.

That is a bummer of news to hear as the season is about to get going and

the 49ers are going to be without their linebacker's coach for a while who's battling cancer.
