Summary

Fareed Zakaria laid out how Trump could win if enough states are disputed and no candidate gets to 270 Electoral college votes.

While Democrats are gloating that Trump is losing his lawsuits the EC path to victory moves forward. Republicans in many states have publicly stated they are disputing the results and this is enough to pull votes from joe Biden.

So long as there are questions over election results this Trump is on track

It doesnt mean he will win, it doesnt mean his chances are anywhere near good

But he is still on track.

Back in September, CNN ran a segment by Farid Zakaria talking about how Donald Trump could

0:05.5

lose the vote, but remain in power, actually get a second term, even if he loses the general

0:12.1

election.

0:13.1

This is called a contingent election, and it happens when they can't get a candidate

0:17.5

0:57.7

PA state election is in dispute.

1:01.4

1:07.1

disputed electoral college vote, then come January 6th.

1:11.4

We don't have a winner.

1:13.0

Donald Trump becomes president, or he remains president, I guess.

1:17.5

Now like I said, I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I will tell you, Democrats are

1:21.9

so obsessed with Donald Trump's legal challenges, his lawsuits, that they're not paying attention

1:27.3

to what's really going on.

1:28.7

And that's why I think a segment like this is really important.
