excited to bring you Erwin McManus Erwin and I met backstage and an event

we both were part of in Charlotte actually so

thank you to Elevation Church and Push Pay for creating the space and the room

for this interview to happen but we sat down at the end of the day backstage and had this amazing, wide-ranging conversation.

So this came on the heels of the Global Leadership Summit where he had pretty much just brought down the house and

We went all over the place in this conversation we talked about his childhood

Parts of his story. I didn't know about how he got over this need for

approval.

And then we talked a lot about pride actually, which is something I address in my brand

new book, which just released yesterday actually

called Didn't See It Coming and got into this really interesting space where we

probably spent too much time talking about narcissism.

Erwin has done some research in that because he sees it as so prevalent not just in the

corporate world but sadly in the church world.
