Gotta tell you, I'm excited about this episode.

You may or may not know the name Jerry Hurley, but he is one of the guys behind the scenes that has been hugely

influential in the development of one of the largest and most effective churches in America and that's Life Church.

Craig Grishel, Bobby Grunwald, that whole team.

Jerry joined them very early in their development.

You've got to go way back to like 19. Are you ready for this?

1998. Life Church was a single site running about 600 people. He was working at

Target at the time and he came on board and really helped Craig Grishell

and Craig would be the first one to tell you this. By the way we had Craig on back

beginning of the year episode 173 you do not want to miss that one.

But Jerry kind of challenged Craig and said,

dude, you got to get out of the way, like this thing's not going to grow.

The way you're leading it is going to cap out growth. Well today Life Church is over 80,000

regular attenders, 29 locations and counting and Jerry's been there the whole way.
