Well hey everybody and welcome to episode 161 of the podcast.

My name is Carrie Newhoff and I hope our time together today helps you lead like never before.

Well, I just want to say a huge thank you.

That's really where I want to start today.

I just want to say thank you. You guys, okay. If you do a podcast like this, you kind of live in three time zones. There's the time I do the interview, which sometimes can be like months in advance of you hearing it.

Then there is the time that I do this part of the podcast, which is what we call the intro

extra, which is usually two or three weeks before you hear it, and then there's when you hear it.

So everything is sort of sequenced a little bit differently.

So I know this is going to sound like old news to some of you, but just thank you for

the third anniversary of the podcast.

I mean this is the first episode I'm recording

after that sort of little week of celebration is over.

And I just want to say thanks.

You guys made it great.

Congrats to the hundreds of you who got free Starbucks and thank you to the many, many more who were like,

hey, the cards empty.
