Well, hey everybody and welcome to episode nine of the podcast. My name is Curie Newhoff, so glad that we can hang out again today and I'm really glad you're here. I hope that this episode helps you lead like never before and it's a great episode to jump in on.

I am so excited about today's guest.

A lot of you probably know him already.

His name is John Acuff and John is a super fun guy to hang around. I've gotten to know John over the last year and we actually did this

Podcast a month or so ago when we were on the road in California on the orange tour. Just wrapped up

my portion of the orange tour and this fall we saw over 10,000 leaders across 12 cities.

And I wasn't able to make it to every city

because I kind of have a day job that I've got to look after

leading a church full time.

But in the seven cities I got to, man,

what an incredible tour. And John and I got to man what an incredible tour and John and I got to sit down backstage actually

at the hotel and just have a conversation I think you're really gonna enjoy it it's

all about work and why we love it and why we hate it and narcissism and

insecurity and I mean John's just super, super transparent. So I mean it's just a great

leadership conversation and that's one of the reasons I love being able to do this podcast is I get to have a lot of these conversations and sometimes you know when you have them it's kind of like I wish everyone could hear this.

Well, what's really cool is now everybody can hear this.

Or, you know, sometimes you think, oh, I wish my team could hear this.

And so this is just so much fun to be able to do this and I really do hope it helps you lead and maybe

your team lead like never before.
