So tell me about how you got to LA and got your role at Rare.

Yeah. So I, from the Midwest, went to college in Ohio, graduated and moved to New York immediately after graduation,

and then had a long career in New York where I was working in retail and beauty and marketing a lot in PRs,

but many years in communications agencies and fell in love with being on the brand side.

So I was the VP of Marketing for Bliss in 2010.

After having spent, having spent many years on the agency side working at Weber Sandwick,

which was one of the largest in PR agencies, which is really where I,

honestly, I met my first mentor, learned how to think, learned how to think about brands and storytelling.

And it's really what sparked my love for what I do and for marketing.

And was able to find this job at Bliss. And then I realized, oh my gosh,

all this brand storytelling, you can actually do it to impact a business and see it come to life on a shelf or in a store,

in a spa, in that instance. And from there, just knew that that was what I wanted to do.
