Well, here we are again, another installment of the co-main event podcast book club.

I'm Chad Dundas, alongside Ben Folk's.

This installment, we're going to be talking about the sisters brothers

by patrick de witt been kind of a a script down crew here to talk about the sisters brothers we

made a lot of big promises in the lead up to this that both of our wives would be here yeah

as it turns out it's just you and me yeah turns out our Turns out our wives have actual jobs that they actually have to do and cannot always take an hour or so out of their day to just talk on a podcast, which frankly, sounds like it sucks.

Sounds like we're having real jobs, real pain in the ass.

Well, I don't envy them at all.

No.

Also, can we talk about how, at least in the introduction, you adopt a different tone for the book club episodes?

It's a little more public radio.

It's a different product.

It is a different product.

That's true.

It's not the co-main event podcast.

It's kind of smooth. It's not, you know, we're not yelling at you about human cockfighting.

We're here to talk to you about high-minded things like literature and film.

And the tone, I think, gets that point across.

I would say as our genre's premier high-end producers of digital content,

we owe it to our fans to offer a diverse menu of programming.

And so here with the book club, we just try to put a different spin on it.
