But today, Monday the 8th is the 50th anniversary of Henry Aaron's 715th

home run the home run he hit to break Bay Bruce record.

Yeah, when that happened, Vince Scully planned as soon as the, he called the home run that he just leaned back from the microphone, let the crowd tell you the rest of that story. I was 10 years old when that happened.

You know, as I've said on the podcast before, we didn't have a television.

I, no one else in my family likes sports but my wonderful late mom left me a note in the morning so I came down the next day and it was a note from her that said Henry Aaron it is 715th home run and the crowd

cheered. And that's what Vince Scully was laying out for in that moment. So quite a

moment in baseball history.
