0:22.3

Hi everybody and welcome to dear Alice.

0:25.4

Today we are talking about closet design.

0:29.3

I love closets.

0:30.4

I do too.

0:32.1

Yeah, I'm so happy that closets have been sort of an iconic thing for us at Alice Lane because the more we

0:39.1

do them, the better we get at them. And I feel like we've mastered so many tricks that we have

0:44.0

to share them at this point. And I love that it's a thing now, too, I think before we all, like,

0:49.1

older homes had this little, you know, tiny teeny closets that were in. Then we'd all have a dresser and everything, but people have full dressing rooms.

0:57.7

And you should take over that guest bedroom and make it your closet and do something fabulous.

1:03.1

So I'm going to tell you all the tricks and tips today.

1:06.1

That's great.

1:07.0

1:28.2

out of that room and steal off the door or have a second entrance into your closet. So that's

1:34.3

some of the work that we're doing a lot these days is maybe you're an empty nester, maybe you've

1:39.2

had a few kids leave home, maybe you have a few extra rooms in the house. So you can play musical bedrooms and you can

1:45.5

turn that old nursery into your closet. So anyway, picture that for a moment while we are talking

1:51.9

about closets because you too can have a luxury space just for you, just your own private little

1:59.2

dressing room, like Suzanne said. So one of the first things

2:03.0

that we do when designing closets is we kind of figure out what is important to the people that

2:08.1

we're designing for and what luxuries they want in their closet or necessities. It might be a

2:13.7

necessity to them. So you might have always wanted to be able to have a washer and dryer, maybe a stackable
