In the opening credits of the TV show, Who's the Boss?

Tony gets thrown out by a mile during a softball game.

Let's go to the tape.

So we open up on Tony, getting waved home, but you can tell the third base coach doesn't

really care.

He doesn't really believe in it.

He's like, yeah, you're probably going to get thrown out.

But then we can all go to the parking lot and light off those fireworks I have in my trunk. Tony is trucking down the line, daring his 38-year-old hamstrings to snap. Now, the ball gets there way before the runner, so Tony's probably going to be out no matter what. But if he goes low, he has a chance since the catcher appears to be an NBA small forward. But Tony goes in hard with what's called

the shithead slide. This is an aggressive move done by people who are all hopped up on Natty Ice and they're trying to impress a babe they went to high school with in the stands. They're like, hey, babe, remember when we slow dance to guns and roses? The left side of the infield isn't phased. They're not moving because they've played this team before, and they know Tony's the guy who yells out, ding-dong, the witch is dead before popping out to the pitcher. He gets tagged out, and if that isn't bad enough, he suffers a grade two concussion right on the dirt. And it's right here where his teammates realize that maybe next year they replace Tony, since his arm wrestling, a waiter is the the reason they're not allowed to have their banquet at TGI Fridays anymore.
