Summary

Klein.Ally.Show on KROQ is more than just a "dynamic, irreverent morning radio show that mixes humor, pop culture, and unpredictable conversation with a heavy dose of realness." (but thanks for that quote anyway). Hosted by Klein, Ally, and a cast of weirdos (both on the team and from their audience), the show is known for its raw, offbeat style, offering a mix of sarcastic banter, candid interviews, and an unfiltered take on everything from culture to the chaos of everyday life. With a loyal, engaged fanbase and an addiction for pushing boundaries, the show delivers the perfect blend of humor and insight, all while keeping things fun, fresh, and sometimes a little bit illegal.

Let's not waste any time. We have a brand new episode of Klein Alley Show to share with you,

0:03.7

so let's get into it. No, Klein. First, we have to talk about San Bernardino International Airport and how they've got you covered this summer, whether you're traveling to San Francisco or Provo, Utah. What do you want? Sit in traffic on the side of the five freeway and smell that cow manure? Of course you don't. Skip the drive and fly hassle free. The San Bernardino International Airport, the only airport on the planet that we wholeheartedly recommend.

0:04.3

And it's convenient. You got low-cost parking five bucks a day. And speaking of hassle, here's another episode of Klein Alley Show. Kay Rock, Klein Alley Show. If you're a mom and you've got a confession, you'd like to get off your chest, could score you all the good stuff. The gift of sleep'll be coming up in moments and moments excuse me right here on k rock uh ali go ahead and just get it off your chest because i know that this is something that um you're very happy about and i don't want to rain on your parade because i know when you have things to look forward to it's cool like you that trip where you went on the ocean or whatever it was on the raft i didn't go to the ocean well whatever you did do you think the grand cany is in the ocean i don't know we were all half listening okay come on man that was a like-chaming experience for me you didn't even listen to me oh you did something i showed your pictures teady or whatever it was not tahiti it was in a arrasy i know that's right the bucket I remember you pooped in the bucket. I didn't poop in a bucket. It was a communal bucket, too, by the way. Thank you, Omar. It was a communal bucket. We got that part of the story. As you know, I have one cat. I used to have two because the other one died and it was a very sad time.

Those are the sounds that she made towards the end.

1:31.3

That's when we knew it was time to take her to the vet.

1:34.3

And we had to say goodbye. It was very difficult.

1:37.3

16 years, I believe she lived. It was a very nice long cat life.

1:41.3

But of the 16 years you had this cat that you had to put down, how many of those years did the cat just spend wandering the neighborhood? 15? The neighborhood? No, she was never an outdoor cat. Well, okay. Again, you don't listen to me. Wait. But didn't she spend most of her time just under the bed or something, avoiding you guys? Didn't you not see her for weeks on end?

1:59.1

They spend a lot of time lounging, yeah. But like when you would take vacations and leave for, you know, on your little ocean adventure. She's happy that way. She was. Wasn't she, didn't you not even do anything? Like I was like, hey, who's watching your couch? Like, they'll just figure it out. Oh, well, we would leave him for a long weekend, no problem.

2:21.0

But if I was gone for a week, i'd have someone come by a couple of times really they're cats dude they're super resilient okay they're super

2:26.8

independent which is why i like having cats over dogs i like dogs but they're way more

2:30.8

responsibility so cut to now it's been a few, and we're thinking of getting a kitten.

2:38.9

Because, and I know when the fires happened, I was interested in maybe adopting, like, an older cat and stuff like that, but I didn't want my kid to go through, like, a cat deaths like one after the other after the other

2:51.6

it seemed like it was a little too hard on him so now our other cat that we have that's alive

2:58.3

I think that she is getting super needy and she's like hey look at me look at me it's a cat

3:05.1

no but she's like in the middle of the night getting the zoomies. This cat is 15. I don't know why. I thought cats were supposed to just lay around 20 hours a day. But this cat is very, very active. And we think that, you know, there's this six-month period, they say, where if you don't introduce a new animal into the house within that time period, then you'll lose the window. Whose day say that? Animal people, animal experts. You know who it is? It's people are trying to unload more cats. Well, good news. There are resilient cats everywhere. But the thing is, I have not tried to find or adopt a cat in 15 years. So I'm out of the game. And the game has changed. It's not like you're just stopping by a shelter and going up. We'll pick up the cutest one we see. There are zillions of online platforms now that have every picture of every cat imaginable. Plus so many more scams. You've got a lot of scams now. Exactly. For a cat? Yes, dude. And it's like Tinder for cats. They're not a nickel. I think that you overpaid if you paid a nickel. You pay way too much for your cat. You have five cats for a nickel. I think if the Dodgers score over one run, you all leave with a cat. Isn't that how that works? I think you can just walk around outside and find one. They're everywhere. They are everywhere. But now I don't know how to choose because you just enter kitten, male, you know, color.

4:19.4

And that's the other thing is you can't go by breed because no one knows what the hell

4:22.6

the breeds are for cats.

4:23.7

You just go, that one looks cute.

4:25.6

That one looks like a good color.

4:27.2

And you see all these pictures of cats.

4:29.3

It's just like, here's a picture of another cute kitten here's a picture of another cute kitten how am i supposed to make a choice it's funny that you would be so superficial and pick a cat just on its looks but i want to see it in person but you can't i can't go to every single shelter within a hundred mile radius to meet all these cats and make the right decision you stand outside with a can of tuna fish they'll all come to you
