Police in Providence, Rhode Island, admitted Wednesday evening that the assailant, quote, could be anywhere.

While the primary focus is finding the gunman, police seem to be at a loss as to how to do that,

and the public is wondering how they have seemingly bungled this case so spectacularly.

Now, for starters, there's the issue of security cameras. The university has about 1,200 of them,

just few, if any, on the back of the building where the shooting took place and where the shooter exited.

Now, cops say that's likely because that part of the building is older, but the president's official campus residence is even older, and the post spotted three cameras there on Google Street View.
