In order to reduce the Olympic Games carbon footprint,

the Paris Olympic officials are offering mostly plant-based meals to the athletes.

But limited meat and dairy means limited protein.

And the athletes, who actually know a thing or two about health and fitness

are not having it. Athletes claim there are food shortages, specifically eggs and grilled meats,

with a lack of food available, the organization went so far as to ration eggs on Wednesday.

And this is pretty eye-opening because the Olympians are some of the healthiest people

out there.

And it turns out that the protein deficient vegan diet isn't actually that great for human

flourishing or performance.

Now, in addition to the food shortages, Olympians are reportedly ditching the Olympic Village for their own personal hotel accommodations, citing that the conditions are unlivable.

And why are the conditions unlivable?
