Hey short waivers, Maddie Sifai here with Emily Kwong.

So for the last couple of weeks, we've been fundraising for NPR member stations and by extension NPR podcasts like ours.

And we just got a pretty awesome update.

NPR told us that we are in second place y'all.

Woo-hoo!

So far, only one other podcast has driven more donations than shortwave.

And we're coming for you up first. We're coming for you.

While this isn't a formal competition, isn't it?

Now that victory is in our sights, we must win.

Yeah, and sure, the theme for this year's fundraising campaign is Togetherness,

which we have interpreted as Together, the NPR short waivers will defeat the competition.

I mean, can you really even call the politics podcast competition?

You know, they've got Detro on their team Kwong.

Like, how tough can they really be?

Shots, fire, Detro. Okay.
