Good morning and welcome to the Zach Jackson and friends podcast.

I am Zach Jackson.

It is Friday morning, April 25th.

Happy birthday to my mother, by the way.

But that's not why you came.

I'll do another podcast telling you how great she is some other time.

But the first round of the NFL draft ended about two hours ago. So I am home.

I wanted to get this out to you. Probably will be about a 12 or 15 minute collection of my rambles

on where the Browns are headed, why they did what they did. Why I pretty much like it.

You know, how it goes.

So, I said, this will be short.

It will probably be scatterbrained.

It is about 145 a.m. or so as we lock in.

So I'm going to run you through what I thought about tonight, what I think about tomorrow a little bit,

and just kind of how we see these pieces coming together,

because it was always going to be multiple pieces.

And I think most importantly,

in what the Browns did tonight,

in acquiring a future first round pick,

and trading down and selecting Mason Graham,

and positioning themselves to have a lot of options tomorrow.

Maybe not ones they anticipated, though, we'll see.
