First, let's pause 10 seconds for station. I am on the University Hospital's Cleveland Browns Radio Network. Bank of Berea, Ken Carman, along the head coach, your Cleveland Brought's Todd Munkin, joining us on the show. Coach, thanks for joining us tonight. Thanks for having me. Okay, first off, let's start with the tackle, Spencer Fano. First off, incredible interview, incredible young man. It's easy to see personality-wise, why he might be a good fit.

What did you guys like most about him?

As clean as you would want, from a character standpoint, a toughness standpoint,

any expectations will have for him as a player.

I don't think it'll match for himself.

I mean, highly competitive, self-aware, where he's got to get better as a player.

But we were excited to be able to trade back, collect picks, and still get the player we wanted.

When we talked to him, it was very cool.

I've had the good fortune of talking to the guys we've drafted for 13 seasons now.

And I mentioned, you know, we've drafted for 13 seasons now.

And I mentioned, you know, you're coming to, we've been looking for that left tackle since Joe Thomas. And you're going to get to talk to Joe Thomas. And I'm sure he's going to offer you tons of advice. And he got emotional. Joe Thomas, one of his favorite players, thinks he's the best left tackle in the history of the game and watched him. and the fact that he's going to get to work with him and know him and learn from him,

perhaps, whatever, pearls the wisdom.

He was just so excited. You talked about that you guys are very comfortable with him at that left side, and that really kind of solidifies something that's so important for an offense. What do you like about his skills that you've seen as a right tackle two years? Left tackle, obviously, his first year at Utah that say, yeah, we're comfortable, he's got what it takes to go on that side.

Athleticism, foot quickness, intelligence, and an unbelievable desire to improve. And so those are all characteristics you're looking for for a player, especially when you take him that high, that I think a really high floor, really high floor.
