I will do a live on a Thursday to show the program on a very big heavy news day here as you know something that since the acquisition of Deshaun Watson in March.

This was the cloud was forever looming over us. We've dealt with it on the show for all these months.

You've dealt with it as fans most especially. This team has had to deal with it ownership.

Everybody around at the NFL has had to deal with it. There's always been this looks good, but what is this going to be?

We're out here practice. We see how this team looks. Boy, they look great. Watson's incredible. But how long is he going to be out?

And there was always uncertainty with that. There was uncertainty until there was a hearing.

Once there was a hearing, it felt like there was certainty on what it would be. It was six games.

Once there was an appeal, then there was uncertainty. It has been a little over two weeks. In fact, two weeks in a day since that appeal.

An appeal that according to the collective bargaining agreement was supposed to be expedited. There was nothing expedited about this.

It was very clear that the NFL did not want to be, did not want this case to be one where you would have to have an appeal system that would go to federal court.

That they would want this to be kind of the blueprint for future, future league rulings in terms of players in this manner.

And so they needed a settlement to get out of that. And today they get it. We now know that cloud has been removed in the sense.

It is 11 games. It's five million dollars for the Sean Watson. That's it. That's the law going forward on this case.

So you can start to prepare for what that looks like now. And at the very least, that part of it is out of the way.

Yeah, and we've been waiting for this resolution for a long time. And so now we could all move forward. We know the resolution. 11 games. 5 million dollars.

But the games part of it is what affects the Cleveland Browns. And so that's what we're going to focus on.

Is the team that's very confident Jacobi Berset. They know that Jacobi Berset will be the starting quarterback now for the first 11 games of this season.

What they do with the quarterback position beyond that remains to be seen. But they are very confident that Jacobi Berset can guide this team to where it needs to be.

For when to Sean Watson returns, which ironically enough now will be week 12 in Houston against the Houston Texans, which is stunning.

By the way, if I'm going to put a little the ball won't spike itself. So I will say I continue to maintain that I was the only person that kept mentioning the possibility of an odd game suspension.
