We will get to our game and the jubilation that comes with that, but obviously off the

top it is the topic in the world at large and the sports world absolutely in the NFL

world acutely what we saw last night in the Cincinnati game.

I was watching with my wife and my son and the three of us were all texting on a text

chain as well and I'm sitting there with my son and he says to me, Dad, did he die?

And I said, I don't know, I don't know.

And as we were texting back and forth trying to ascertain information, obviously there

is no NFL precedent for that, for what we witnessed last night.

You knew pretty quickly that it was dire, didn't take long, that first commercial break

was real, the second commercial break was really long and it was a different tone coming

back.

And you knew that it was serious and when you started to see the images of the player's

face in Z and you saw the tears streaming and eyes weld with tears, it hit you differently

and you did sit there wondering for a waiting for a long time and as the three of us were

all texting, we all have different contexts throughout the league and trying to figure

out what was happening on the ground.

It was as terrifying a moment as you'll ever see in sport is what we witnessed last

night.
