All right folks, before we start the show, I wanted to take a brief moment to recommend another history podcast to all of you listening.

Now this podcast recently recommended Giants of History to its audience, and I wanted to return the favor as I believe a rising tide lifts all boats and

history as a subject needs to be pushed forward and introduced to as many people as possible given the

extremely wild times that we're currently living in. So this podcast is

called historical figures and it's complimentary to Giants of History in that it

also profiles the lives of people who change the course of history.

Only its approach is a little bit different than mine. They profile a different person each week and they use sound effects and voice actors to help tell each story.

And that's why I like the show and my kids dig this show too.

This is theater of the mind stuff like something you might hear in the golden age of radio.

Historical figures takes you on a journey through famous lives and it shows you their childhood

and their personalities.

It recounts the stories of their friendships, their financial struggles, and it really does give

the listener a sense of what motivated these people to leave their mark on history.

And they have a team of researchers, they have two hosts, and they provide little known facts about each individual every episode.

And like I said, that's every Wednesday a new figure is introduced.

So some recent episodes that you should check out are Albert Einstein, Marco Polo, they just
