So as we look at this Clemson game, we begin this preview.

The first thing to note is if you had told me, if you'd told anybody at the beginning of the season,

that Florida State Clemson coming into the game would be a single digit spread,

a lot of people would have been surprised. And if you'd have told people that after Florida State lost, coming into the game would be a single digit spread.

And if you'd have told people that after Florida State lost to Jacksonville State,

well, people have thought you were nuts.

But here we are.

Last I checked, the spread was at Clemson minus 9.5.

Now, granted, I think more of the sharp money has been coming in on Clemson minus 9.5. Now, granted, I think more of the sharp money has been coming in on Clemson, from what I can tell.

But still, I mean, this is a better shot in this game than anybody thought Florida State would have coming into the year.

There's been a lot of things that have played out in ways that have,

that give you hope if you're, if you're coming from the Florida state side. First and foremost, that Clemson has 17, according to Davos-Sweeney, about 17 scholarship players out. Now, a couple of those

guys may or may not actually play in this game, but there's been some really key guys.

Most notably, their best defensive player, defensive tackle Brian Brzee, who is, you know, former number one overall player in the, in the, in his recruiting class.

And then you add to that defensive end,

co-starter at defensive end, Justin Foster, out for the year.
