questions of pretty much any kind. Now, recently there is a gentleman, there was a gentleman,

I hate to say, it's past tense now, who appeared, was a guest on

various shows that the two of us have done over the years, going clear back to the early 90s when

literally he was in his 20s, and he was an early adopter of the concept of index funds and diversified investing,

and he died last week of lung cancer at age 62.

His name was Jonathan Clements.

And there have been a number of articles written obituary-type pieces about him because he really did have such an

impact. He had a lot of great books. He had a blog. He wrote for the Wall Street Journal.

And a friend of his by the name of Ron Lieber, who we also know and have worked with before,

wrote up his own piece after going back through Jonathan's old writings and found five things

that really stood out as brilliant bits of advice that are a little off the beaten path.
