Episode three here we go

Let's start with a disclaimer and I just want to put this out there so people know what they're getting themselves into

in my mind

My podcast, you know this whole creation like I said from the very beginning. I don't know where it's going, but

It's definitely not a a military podcast, you know in air quotes

I'm super proud of the time that I spent in uniform, but I also don't really define myself by that time and

And I'm sure I'll talk about military stuff and I think it comes up just kind of naturally in conversation often

But this is not like a military

centric podcast and I'm not a military centric person so just want to throw that out there if people are looking for something that's

die-hard military

You're probably not going to find it in the next few hours or days or weeks or months. So just want to throw that out there

So today I got sit down with a friend named Sean Hughes

Sean's an interesting guy

It's funny. I just got finished saying this is an military podcast and I talked to a guy who's in the military

So Sean served in the military

He served as an officer and had a much different route into the military than I did

I enlisted when I write out a high school Sean went to the naval academy and I say interesting

Because he served with the speck war community for a long time

But didn't come through one of the traditional routes and by that

I mean he didn't come through the Buds program or the SWIC program or the EOD program or any of the programs that are associated with

Special operations on the Navy side of the house

But yet served in a position where he was the officer in charge of a
