Summary

Dakota Meyer is a husband, father, Marine, and one of 11 living Medal of Honor recipients from the war in Afghanistan. He enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school, served from 2006-2010, and received the highest and most prestigious military decoration that can be awarded for his actions on September 8th, 2009. 0:06.0	I'm out here in Las Vegas attending the shot show, which is essentially a tactical convention,
0:13.6	very similar to the ATA show that I was able to go with with Dudley, focusing around

0:25.0	So while I was out here, reached out or an individual reached out to me a few weeks

0:32.9	And for those of you unfamiliar with Dakota Meyer, he is a, was a United States Marine and
0:39.7	is one of the few living Medal of Honor recipients from either the war in Iraq or the war in Afghanistan.
0:46.4	And we were trying to figure out a way to link up to have a conversation face to face instead
0:52.4	of doing it remotely.
0:54.0	We got to realize that we were going to be out here at the shot show.
0:57.0	So we decided to sit down and we were finally able to link up and be able to do that.
1:01.8	He has a podcast also called owning it with Dakota Meyer.
1:06.4	And obviously you'd listen to this podcast, you know, mine is called, but we did one recording
1:10.7	and we're going to share it between the two.
1:12.9	So he actually asked me a few questions to start off with and then I asked him some towards

1:18.9	He spent an equal amount of time talking about myself and him talking about himself.
