Let's all turn to Acts the 24th chapter, Acts 24. You know 150 years ago, we'd be huddling around a wood stove in here.

Crowd would probably be considerably smaller.

And what we got done, you'd have to get out and ride your mare back home.

Telling you, we got it made.

We got it made.

We got it cushy.

Don't you think?

I do.

We are so blessed.

Of course, to whom much is given?

Much is expected.

You know, heated cars and heated auditorium, and there's really no excuse for laying out and

staying home, goofing off well that didn't go over too big

did it? Acts 24 let's go look at that Acts 24 and 16 we began on a series some weeks ago entitled A Clear Conscience,

talking about the role of the conscience in our life. And this has been our main text.

Paul said, by the Spirit, he said, I do exercise myself to always have a

conscience void of offense toward God and toward men.

And the NIV, I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

This is something Paul said by the Spirit of God, Spirit of God said through him, that he did all the time.

He's always watching and making an effort and doing what needs to be done so that his conscience is clear.

Between him and God and between him and other people.

And this is vitally important.
