Acts 2416, Paul said by the inspiration of the spirit, he said, herein do I exercise myself,

to have always a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men.

The word towards an italics.

When you see them like that, that means it wasn't in the original text.

So it just means toward God and men.

The NIV says,

I strive always to keep my conscience clear

before God and man

without offense

that has to do with you

your conscience being offended

this is something that's happening inside him your conscience being offended.

This is something that's happening inside him.

And he said, I'm always making an effort.

I'm always on that to keep my conscience where it's not bothering me,

where my conscience is clear between me and God and between me and people.

And he said, I do this all the time.
