I'm going to know it's good to actually open your Bible in church.

Don't you think so?

Read scriptures.

That's what's supposed to happen.

We're going to Acts the 24th chapter.

Acts Chapter 24. Acts 24.16.

Acts 2416, we begin a new series on our last time. And this was our main text, verse 16.

Paul said, the Spirit of God inspiring him,

he said, herein do I exercise myself

to have always a conscience void of offense

toward God and toward men.

The NIV, he said, I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

The New American Standard says to maintain always a blameless conscience before God and before men.

A conscience void of offense, a conscience clear, a conscience blameless.

Now there's quite a bit in the New Testament about the conscience.

And I'm convinced that we haven't spent enough time on it in years past and most of the circles I've been in.

And most Christians are not aware that they are to monitor their conscience closely.

And they are to heed their conscience quickly and completely.

So many Christians are not aware.

They haven't been taught.

They don't understand that their conscience is the voice of their spirit.
