Recently in our nation over the course of the last several months there has been a massive public outcry

over the fact that Netflix will be taking the office off of their site. See, I told you.

Point proven.

Or, in just here in the last couple of weeks,

the fact that the internet almost broke

just as the cast of friends came out and said,

hey, we're gonna get the gang back together.

We're celebrating 25 years, and so

we're gonna have one special episode

to memorialize the fact that friends happened here coming up in the near future, right?

Like that is the way that we cherish television, that we look at these stories and we love them,

not just because they're entertaining,

but we love these stories because we connect to the characters,

like we grow attached to them personally.

We find that as we watch these stories unfold,

the lessons they learn become relevant for our own lives,

and truthfully, we identify even in real life

in their fictionalized circumstances.

That's why we love watching television.

That's why we binge.
