Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson. Here on the

hump day edition of the yard, we were supposed to have a baseball game to recap today, but we don't.

It's probably a good thing that we don't. It was a weird night in the Southeastern Conference.

We're going to get into some of that, too, as well as some things that I've been involved in

It's always fun right before we get too deep in the weeds let's uh let's send our well wishes out to many of you that are

Dealing with a lot of this weather stuff I tell you know we we got a roof leak here and I wanted to get angry about it

But I thought to myself man we got people around our state don't have a home not go leak here and I wanted to get angry about it, but I thought to myself, man, we got people around our state that don't have a home. I'm not going to sit here and cry too much about a leaky roof. You know, hey, it's part of the deal. If you don't take care of a house, it'll fall down around you. And some of our neighbors, no matter they're averting interest, they're dealing with some very severe weather today and last night. I've got many friends that, you know, live in the central Mississippi area. It'd say it was a very

difficult night. And, you know, we're blessed to be able to wake up today. That's truly the case.

And most of us are waking up much like we did yesterday. It's a little bit worse for where, but all that I understood,

a lot of people out there dealing with some pretty serious stuff today.

And listen, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you

and everybody dealing with that stuff in South Mississippi today.

As you guys know, I am a very proud South Mississippian.

And I got a lot of family down there and you know you always kind of

keep up with stuff just because of the fact it's like you know there are some things that happen

around the world and around the country you can just kind of put a pin in and say well it doesn't

really affect me so I'm not going to exert a lot of emotional energy as it relates to that but

man when people you love are in harm's way, yeah, it gets to you.

Matter of fact, my agent last night, I was texting with him as he and his female companion were in the closet.

Kind of hunkering down because of the weather.

And I haven't reached them today.

That's not atypical.
