Summary

The host talks you through cleaning each area of your home, while offering her perspective on how to get through this “quarantine” period. She covers timely topics including; looking presentable during quarantine, using disinfectants more, and creating a new chore list for your kids. She also goes on a rant about her furniture delivery, which was already delayed before businesses started closing. Although she takes the virus seriously and practices hand washing and moderate social distancing, she gets a little controversial by voicing her concerns about the economy and local businesses. She also acknowledges that it can be challenging to focus on projects with the whole family at home a lot more. Hopefully, this recording finds you well during this Covid 19 crisis. We are all in this together, and none of us has all the answers. No judgment here if your opinions differ on this matter. God bless!

Hi everyone, Ronnie here.

You're listening to Clean with me, the podcast where I talk you through cleaning your house.

0:14.5

Thanks for joining me. This is episode 96.

0:18.8

And as I do in most episodes, I'm going to talk you through cleaning your entire house.

0:25.8

The title of this episode is going to be cleaning during social distancing. But if you're

0:31.2

listening to this in the future when things have gotten back to normal, I think this episode

0:36.1

will still be relevant to you because we're just going

0:40.3

to be cleaning the house, basically. So the first thing you might want to do is start a load of

0:46.9

laundry to kind of kick off the cleaning session. And then for those of you who start a load of

0:52.5

laundry at the beginning of the episode, I'll remind

0:55.3

you at the end of the episode that it might be time to switch that laundry from the washing

1:00.8

machine into the dryer. I like to try to do one load of laundry per day from start to finish.

1:07.6

I'm not always perfect about it. If that sounds like a lot, you might have a smaller

1:12.6

family, but keep in mind, this includes bedding. So if you're caught up on washing clothes,

1:20.7

towels, cleaning rags, or whatever, perhaps you need to wash some sheets from one of the beds or a comforter. So go ahead and get that

1:32.4

laundry started. If you're not feeling motivated at all, maybe you want to freshen up a little bit.

1:39.9

I know right now during social distancing, we're not necessarily fixing up as much, but remember,

1:47.8

when you look good, you feel good. So even though you might not be doing the same things you would

1:53.5

normally do, we all kind of have those minimums that help us feel presentable. It might be a more

2:00.1

casual look than when we leave the

2:02.4

house, but do whatever it takes to help you feel presentable, and that's probably going to

2:09.4

improve your mood and your motivation. Another thing that I like to do at the beginning of a
