They were there to tout what is being billed as quote a crowning achievement of the

Biden administration after years of battling with the pharmaceutical industry.

It is the culmination of a year-long effort to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies

over some of the priciest drugs used by older Americans and has resulted in about $6 billion in initial

savings.
