Friday night of two very different game sixes.

In Cleveland, we had one of my favorite situations where the team with home court

advantage is going on the road in a game six hoping to save their season.

And the Detroit Pistons delivered, Danny.

In the end, was not close.

1.1594.

They just steadily pulled away in the second half.

And there will be a game seven on Sunday.

There will.

And I think one of the things that's fascinating to me,

the cabs had not lost a home game in these playoffs before game six.

And not to say that they're an insurmountable

opponent or anything like that. They'd been beaten plenty of times. But I think I had this idea

that, oh, it's going to take, you know, a really perfect or a spectacular performance from the

Detroit Pistons to knock off the calves. And I think the Pistons played well. We'll talk about all the

ways that they did, including a big bounce back from Jalen Duren. But the Pistons had plenty to win this

game. I thought in a lot of ways this was about the cabs losing it and just not putting their

best foot forward. They didn't have their best game in a number of different ways. And the place I want

to start is at the basket because I think this tells a fascinating story. And so overall in the game,

the cabs were 11 of 26 inside five beat. They were fouled seven times, but 11 at 26. And sure,

the second half number on that is Grizzly, five of 17, around the basket. But there is an argument to be made that the first half number is troubling too, because in the first half, they were six for nine. And while that's a good percentage, nine attempts around the basket, and they were fouled three times, isn't that many. And so I thought that the calves, like in the first half, they weren't getting there, and the second half, they weren't making them. And neither of those is as good. And the Pissons are a great rim protecting team. And there were definitely some strong rim protection plays. But I also thought there were a number of, you know, Donvin Mitchell going in and just getting absolutely stopped and various different other plays. And so it's a fascinating component of this game. Yeah, I do agree. I mean, there were a few where I thought they were getting pretty good looks, and it just was brimming out. Like Mitchell had a couple of sequences where he even, like, got his own rebound, couldn't make that. Like, there's a little bit of Murphy's Law going on with the cows finishing in the second. Other times,

they were kind of flopping, trying to draw the file, not getting the call. And so that was certainly
