you doing?

I'm doing great, John. I really excited to be here. And as I was telling you just off

air a second ago, I'm preparing mentally for the golf outing. I'm about to have coming

up here shortly. Pray for me. I need it.

You're going to need to actually implement some of your own mental health strategies,

which we're going to talk about in a little bit. But a lot of positive self talk is going

to have to be happening because I'm going to probably have a lot of negative self talk

when I when I tee off. That's cool. We have a mutual friend in Alex Dem Jack. How do you

know Alex?

Yeah. So Alex and I actually walked on to the Missouri football team together. So back

in 2011. Yeah. 2011. So it's been a long time coming. And we've stayed friends ever since

and I still check in on them. But he's a I we've talked a lot about the connection that

you two have and how you guys wrote a book together. And he's been someone I've looked

up to too. I think obviously he looks up to you. So it's been really cool to to learn

a lot from him and his experiences.

That's awesome. You gained fame and notoriety by being on the Bachelor. How do you go from

Missouri football to being on the Bachelor?

You know what? I asked myself that a lot as well. It was a very kind of random how it

all occurred. So I actually downloaded Instagram later than all my friends had it for a few

months because Facebook was becoming outdated. All of a sudden, at least for my friend group.
