I'm, of course, your host, John Campy.

I'm joining to you today by Jonathan Boyko. Hello, hello, everyone. Writer, director, producer, Robert Meyer Burnett. Surprise day again. And most importantly, of course, you guys are here. Thank you so much for being here, making our little show part of your day, a show where we talk about the things that we love, movies movie news TV and streaming and all that good

stuff and we're awfully glad that you guys are here to come along on the ride with us and

just hang out with some friends and talk about some of our favorite things so with all

that said let's not waste any time to get right into it here shall we and we're going to start

off with this i don't know if i've ever looked forward to a television show more,

other than Shogun, other than Shogun,

then when they announced they were doing a Lord of the Rings,

the Rings of Power series.

That, I mean, especially when they advertised all the behind-the-scenes people that were involved with it, dude, I was counting down the days like a Christmas calendar for years for that show to come out.

And then was great excitement and anticipation.

Anne and I went to the Cinemark Theater out in Anaheim to watch the first two episodes on the big screen.

And I walked out of that saying, I'll stick with it, but I'm almost ready to tap out after the first couple of episodes.

And while there were some highlights in the first, look, there definitely were.

There were absolutely some highlights in season one, particularly the relationship between

Duren and Elrond.

Like every moment they were on screen together was great, but that wasn't much of the show.

And I ultimately just felt that first season was quite a disappointment.

So I was not looking forward to season two. Season two came out. And while I am not going to call
