We had Joe Biden just address the nation on the, uh, the devastation in Florida and the

oncoming hurricane.

Now the continuation of hurricane Ian into South Carolina and that part of the coastal

southeastern US. Uh, so our thoughts are going out to everybody who's been already affected

in Florida and also those who are going to be bearing the brunt here of a less extreme

but still dangerous hurricane Ian in the southeastern United States.

Uh, one thing that I'd mentioned at the top of the, of the program today, the first hour.

Uh, is that Russia has now had a, a sham referendum effectively in a number of, uh, parts

of Eastern and Southern Ukraine.

And so now they are officially Russian Federation territory according to Russia.

Uh, I had thought all along.

In fact, in the beginning of this conflict at the start of this year, I'd said that Russia's

just going to carve up and take parts of Ukraine into its territory.

The question really was how much I bring this up.

Because our team was monitoring this.

Um, and Biden spoke about what's going on right now in Ukraine and here's what he said.

He's his neighbor's territory and get away with it.

It's simple as that.
