We anticipated told you it was coming but the Federal Reserve has officially raised its key rate by

three quarters of a point

For a third straight time to fight

Inflation this was not a particular surprise although

Buck maybe suggesting that Wall Street is getting nervous about the Fed not being aggressive enough

Stocks are now down a couple of hundred points in the wake of this decision

I did not hear very many people arguing that they needed

Less than a three quarter rate increase a lot of people out there

We're saying maybe a full point was justified and I wonder on some level

Whether that is the reactant on Wall Street regardless stocks now down

Biden has been in office for almost two years and I'll get the staff to look this up again

Because I can't remember the exact number

But effectively if you had bought stock on the day that Joe Biden entered into the White House January 20th

I believe a 2021

I believe at best you are essentially break even and I think you're down a little bit now

Which is not that common to have a two-year process where the stock market has essentially not moved and or gone down
