Kentucky Senator Rand Paul joins Clay and Buck and reveals why you should be worried about the lame duck House, how the new defense bill could roll back covid vaccine policy (which would be a Republican win) and calling for FBI and Big Tech to answer for their 2020 collusion. One-time liberal darling Michael Avenatti sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for defrauding his clients and obstructing IRS efforts. They keep investigating Trump, but Avenatti gets the jail time. The New York Times finally reports on Twitter-FBI collusion -- and lies. During Congressional Gold Medal ceremony for Jan. 6 police, representatives of those receiving awards shake hands with Schumer then walk past McConnell and McCarthy. Welcome in Clay Travis, Buck Sexton Show. We are joined now by Senator Rand Paul, who I am told

0:13.6

is with his wife right now, Kelly, who has phenomenal taste, not only in who she married,

0:19.3

but also in her radio show preferences. So shout out to your wife, Kelly, Senator. Congratulations

0:25.5

on re-election to represent the great state of Kentucky. And as we look towards, yeah.

1:25.4

by Pelosi and Schumer and most of the establishment Republicans up here will vote for it.

1:30.9

So if we want to have any hope of trying to control this debt and this monster spending,

1:36.4

people need to call their legislator and tell them absolutely under no conditions,

1:41.2

vote for the Pelosi Schumer monstrosity. It is going to be over a trillion dollars in new debt.

1:47.3

It will be thousands of pages. It is being written in secret and it will be devolved a couple of

1:52.4

hours before we vote on it. Then they will say, oh, take it or leave it or shut down government.

1:57.6

But I would say they leave it because they are going to fund 87,000 IRS agents and I think

2:02.5

Republicans should fight. We should take back the power of the purse and I think we should fight.
