Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Boxe Extenshow podcast.

0:05.2

Welcome to the client everybody. Great day for America. We're an hour to here. We're bringing you

0:12.0

the latest on what's going on with all these elections last night. The quick takeaway, as you know,

0:17.3

Glen Youngkin, the Republican, a huge win over Terry McCollough,

0:20.9

Slimey Terry. Uh, he was defeated.

0:24.1

He gave his concession speech this morning. Big, big shockwave going through the Democrat party.

0:29.4

Right now you also have a fantastic new lieutenant governor, win some seers, a marine,

0:36.5

uh, marine veteran and a woman who I think you're going to hear a lot more about in the Republican politics.

0:41.9

A tight race that got a little less tight. Clay and I were just talking about this before in New Jersey,

0:46.2

0:55.7

vote dump that had come in and the live trackers here updating where all this stands. So it's 49.94

1:03.8

percent of the vote for Murphy. Cinterelli 49.32 percent. A reminder everybody, your vote does

1:23.5

should not legally be counted, even if cast an error can change an election and one election in

1:29.9

one state can change the trajectory of Congress of the, uh, presidency of the country. So something

1:36.4

to keep in mind, but what exactly happened last night? What is the, what is the takeaway for Republicans?

1:43.1

There is, I think, a template here for national level political victory based upon bringing

1:49.8

politics down to the most fundamental local level. What's being taught in your schools, parents

1:55.6

and their children, supporting families, giving them choice, getting them involved. My man, Clay

1:59.7

Travis went to one of these meetings himself out in Williamson County, Tennessee. So that's what

2:05.6

the Republicans say from it. The Democrats on the other hand, they're going back and forth.
