We've been talking throughout the entire first hour of this program

about the situation in Texas the fallout.

By the way, thank you to all who have reached out,

emailed, tweeted, messaged,

called fabulous response from you guys as we try to unpack some of the facts and examine

and understand what's going on.

While this Texas school shooting is an unbelievable tragedy,

it's actually reflective of larger issues that are going on in society in this way.

We are dealing right now with an unprecedented level of violence in our cities and in our states

and in our communities.

And school shootings are a tiny pen prick of the overall murders of children

that are occurring every single day all over this country.
