we had a situation where Democrats were insistent.

That Hillary had no knowledge of this.

It was all bull crap.

This was a political dirty trick.

Run against Donald Trump that actually was used,

not only to send some of his associates to prison for, in some cases, incredibly minor infractions and very short periods of time, fortunately.

But was also the primary means used to undermine the Trump presidency, to slow down the Trump presidency.

And effectively the process of the special counsel was the punishment.

The process was the punishment. You had this specter hanging over the Trump White House of Mueller and Rachel Maddow, among others,

built whole careers, it seemed, for years on this having to do with the Kremlin, that having to do with the Kremlin.
