We've got Alex Barrett's and joining in third hour to talk about a lot of things COVID-related,

but notably what's going on in Israel, which has been in so many ways a precursor or a preview,

I should say of what we will be dealing with in this country. And then we have Senator

Ted Cruz joining us as well. I'm talking about a whole bunch of things coming up in the third hour,

but right now, crying top of the agenda. Interestingly enough, you're not seeing a ton of news

stories that try to look at the aggregate numbers and try to pull together what's happening.

And I think that's, it's pretty clear why that is because there are individual incidents that's

going to get covered at the local level. You're going to see stories about a shooting here,

a car jacking there. I think Clay there were, I think it was almost 400 car jackings in Washington,

DC over the last 12 months, which is a stunning number for a city that's not that big. And

there are only 365 days in a year, folks. So, you know, very serious crimes getting reported on,

but no one's looking at it from the top down because this is, and let's be clear, an enormous

weakness for the Democrats going into the midterms. There are some of them, the smarter Democrats

politically are having flashbacks to what happened in the 70s and then the 80s when Reagan came along

and then getting into the 90s where you had tough on crime policies, beginning in cities like New

York, the Giuliani, Bratton crime turnaround that happened in New York City. I lived through it.

So I experienced that. It was a different city when that was, when it was done over the course of

about 10 years, New York went from some kind of a urban hellscape to the safest, most prosperous

big city in American, in some ways the world. So why is it turning around? Well, because Democrats
