Summary

Surprising no one, inflation "Hotter than Expected." Annual core inflation at 6.6% is the highest since 1982. Democrats restart January 6th hearings to distract from the 40-year high inflation numbers. Clay says, "Inflation at 40-year highs is more of a threat to Democracy than anything that happened January 6th." Biden is on the road raising money from mega-rich donors who won't be affected by inflation. Bidenflation is driving up interest rates, won’t be long before you see 7% mortgage rates! Saudi Arabia confirms Biden attempted to coerce them to postpone oil cuts until after the midterms, announce they have rejected his quid pro quo. Buck says, "All countries lie. They lie to their own people. They lie to other countries." When will we see the end of mask madness? C&B say some people will wear them for the rest of their lives, and expect you to, even though it's based on "science gobbledgook."

Welcome in the Thursday edition Clay Travis and Bucks Xt and show we wish we had better news for you,

0:13.7

but we unfortunately told you exactly where we would be sitting starting today's program

0:19.8

at a unfortunate 40 year plus high on many measurable inflation data. September did not get any

0:30.8

better for the Biden administration. Inflation rose 8.2% in September. That is the big number,

0:39.4

but the core inflation rate was up 6.6%. That is a 40 year high going all the way back to August

0:48.0

of 1982. So the inflation reduction act, which actually increases inflation has not in any way

0:57.4

made things any better and stop if you've heard this before. Everybody out there said, wow,

1:04.4

this inflation is even worse than we expected. Let me play you a couple of cuts as this number

1:10.9

came down at 8.38 AM this morning. Let's start with Fox businesses. Cheryl Cassone, here's what she

1:18.4

said. So we're looking at a month over month gain of 0.4%. The estimate was 0.2%. Month over month

1:24.4

coming in at 0.4%. Year over year 8.2% that is hotter than expected. Again, coming in month over

1:35.6

month hotter than expected at 0.4%. And again, 8.2% is the headline CPI number for the month of

1:44.0

September. That is hotter than expected. Let me contextualize this with a couple of more cuts from a

1:50.7

variety of media sources. CNBC Steve Leiceman says you can't even say that inflation has peaked yet.

1:59.2

Everything the Fed looked they had been medium term to long term wrong short term they've been

2:04.8

right when they've been coming forward and you had a master who took a little heat the other day

2:08.8

saying you can't even say inflation has peaked yet. Well, you can't even say inflation has peaked

2:13.6

yet. At least in these numbers, we can argue about whether or not the Fed's watching the right

2:17.8

numbers. And then finally CNN's Christine Romans. This is the one I want to hit you with.

2:23.8

Highest since August of 1982. 40 year highs. Listen to this. The Fed has been raising interest rates

2:31.3

now for months and these numbers are still near 40 year highs. And when you dig inside these numbers
