and a warmth in the heart. If I sound familiar, it's because I was honored to fill in for a

Rush Limbaugh, God rest the maha for a number of years. So I feel like it's a reunion.

Merry Christmas to you, happy new year, so much news to cover, but prior to that, I want to recognize

this, the power outages and the loss of life and just say that our prayers are genuinely

with you, that God would provide you comfort. I also want to recognize the people working to

restore power. There's been loss of life there too. Where folks are called out of their holiday

to go take care of others and to give to others. And we'll take just a minute to say,

we love you and we appreciate that work you do that is not. It can't be fun work, but it is vital.

And one of my frustrations with our country is that we tend to take work like that and somehow

not honor it. So I want to take a moment to tell you if you're on the line and you're pulling

lines right now and restoring power, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. That is tough work.

And to shift from tough work to slimy work.
