So, so I don't have today getting a zone Auto Zone. You know who's in the zone. It's the Golden State Warriors and they after watching again the Cavs game last night against the Celtics.

Credit to the Cavs they got a win. They're going to win the Eastern Conference Finals. They eliminated any doubt about that by going up 3-1 because after all who could ever give up a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals.

But in general the Cavs are a flawed basketball team that is going I believe to get dominated by the Warriors. I watched last night's game with that in mind.

The Cavs are going to win this game even when they were down 10-1-1 half even when LeBron James got his fourth foul six minutes left in the second quarter.

To me there was no doubt the Cavs are going to find a way to win this basketball game.

And so I was watching almost entirely to figure out how do I see this matchup going. What's going to happen when the Warriors and the Cavs meet up starting next Thursday.

And again I know Cavs have to go to Boston. Maybe they even lose in Boston in game 5. Maybe they have to come back for game 6 and Cleveland.

All that's going to do is take a little bit of their legs, zap a little bit of their energy, make it even more likely that the Warriors are going to dominate.

I'm telling you right now Warriors in 5. And to me the question that you can already start to ask is who's got more at stake here? Kevin Durant or LeBron James?

Because already you can hear the drum beat of the LeBron apologists saying well this is not really fair because Kevin Durant chose to chase a title and go sign with Golden State.

Now I've been defending Kevin Durant ever since he made the decision to go to Golden State even though I think it was bad for the overall NBA.

And if you listen to this show you know that I've given you my plan on what I would do to make the NBA more competitive again.

It's frustrating tonight.

We last night we saw the Ottawa Senators beat the Pittsburgh Penguins. I'm not sure if you're an NHL guy. I don't know if you care at all.

But we're going to game seven there and already the Nashville Predators have advanced to the Stanley Cup finals as the eight seed out of the Western conference.

You watch the NHL you watch a hockey game anything can happen other than the one upset where the calves gave up a 21 point lead to the Celtics on I guess Sunday night right or whatever day it was.

Then there's been absolutely no suspense for any of the games that have really mattered in the NBA this year and that flies in the face of pretty much every other sport.

Where if we care about it in America typically gets in the playoffs anything can happen whether it's the NFL Major League baseball college basketball with the NCAA tournament college football now with the four game playoff and also all the complexity of who is going to get into the four game playoff since the entire season is in many respects a playoff and obviously the NHL.

Anything can happen in those playoffs the challenge for the NBA is that nothing unexpected happens in the NBA playoffs and that I think we're likely going to roll into the NBA finals with the calves and the Warriors having combined to go 24 and one in the playoffs.

That ain't good for the NBA but Kevin Durant did exactly what we always say we want athletes to do he took less money to go chase the championship.
