I am joined by Scott Degg of tomato mania and you know I've said tomato mania six seven

times now and Scott we haven't actually truly given you the opportunity to talk about

what tomato mania is so why don't we just start out there tonight Kevin you're thank

you it could be with you and that's so nice tomato mania is my world in the springtime

has been for over 20 years and this is an event that started at a wonderful nursery

when I changed when I shifted my life and went from corporate to to compost I guess is

a way to say that I ended up at a nursery in Pasadena where this event was held and I fell

in love and helped to build the help to the great plants people at that nursery at Hordes

helped them build it and grow it and all of that and eventually the nursery wasn't there

anymore I picked up the event and said this can't go away and so tomato mania lived on

and we became a nomad outside of the nursery and we've been in 20 we've been in five states

25 cities over the last 20 years spread the spread the good news right about the about

this amazing and America's most popular summertime gardening pursuit and it's been great

we are we we find grow and sell some of the most interesting rarest most beautiful

tastiest tomatoes that that one can find heirloom type it's classics you name we try to run

the dammit and we make them available to home garden and that is our goal we want garden

to have interesting stuff to grow and we want them to be successful that's what we want

yeah and that's what we've been talking about this week is specifically the

success in the garden but you know now that we've given them a good primer on how to care

for your tomatoes from from life life until harvest so to speak why don't we just highlight

some of the classics that that are coming out of tomato mania and many of these remember everyone
