Peter Millican on Does Got Exist.

This was a special edition of the show that featured the public debate between Christian

philosopher William Lane Craig and atheist philosopher Peter Millican as part of our reasonable

faith tour in 2011.

They debated Does Got Exist before a capacity crowd at Bill's alma mater Birmingham University

where he studied for his first doctorate.

This show was first broadcast in October 2011.

At two debates this evening, a professor William Craig and professor Peter Millican.

Professor Craig is a leading Christian philosopher, a defender of Christianity debates and lectures

across the world.

He's the author of numerous books and articles and he's research professor of philosophy

at Talbot School of Theology in Lama-Rava, California.

Interestingly, professor Craig gave his doctorate in philosophy here in 1977 at the University

of Birmingham and it was here that he researched his column cosmological argument which is

so important to his work today.

He then moved on to Germany to Belgium and he's well known now across the globe.

This particular debate is part of Dr Craig's reasonable faith tour and he's won a four debates.

The others being in Westminster Central Hall, the Cambridge Union and to come Manchester

University.
