unforgettable one today because back in October 2011 Premier hosted the reasonable faith UK

tour with William Lane Craig. I'd helped to facilitate this tour of debates and lectures

by Craig which saw him face up to numerous debate opponents in London, Oxford, Cambridge

and Manchester all across the UK and the tour began in London with Westminster Central

Hall packed for the first encounter he would have there with atheist philosopher Stephen

Law. I was there to moderate it and ask questions from the audience so you're going to hear

Joseph Schubert once said better to debate a matter without settling it than to settle

a matter without debating it. Now tonight we don't expect to settle

conclusively the question does God exist but we will hear the best arguments for and against

the existence of God and then you'll be left to decide who's made the most persuasive

case and what to do with that information. As I often say on my radio program this is

a show that aims to get you thinking and the same is true for tonight and I've tried

to foster an environment on that program where both sides of the argument can be heard

and the listener can make their own considered decision and whatever perspective you come
