Just as we get into this, do you want to tell us about why you said yes to doing these

events, what you see is the value of having these kind of dialogues about God and science?

Well, for me, the prime goal of doing all of these events is to have people a better perception

of what science is all about and how remarkable the universe is.

And so that's the fundamental reason.

And the secondary reason is that it's to combat what I think are misrepresentations that

are propagated about science.

So usually I'm a little bit positive and talk about what we've learned about the universe

and how fundamentally what is really important is that people need to have their beliefs
