This was a real gem actually.

Neither of my guests today are phenomenally well known, the world of apologetics.

One of them is a noted lecturer in Old Testament and apologetics, Chris Sinkinson from

Maulam's Bible College.

But he faced off against former minister turned atheist Leslie Scrake, who at the time

had written something called an unbeliever's guide to the Bible, criticizing parts of the

Old Testament that he sees as a moral, praising parts of Scripture that illustrate humanist

values.

Now Chris responds to Leslie's understanding of the Bible in this show, which was first

broadcast in May 2011.

Well thank you gentlemen both for being with me on today's show.

It's an appropriate year to be doing quite a bit of biblical stuff, which we're doing

quite a bit of because it's of course the 400th anniversary of the King, publication

of the King James version of the Bible.

And lots of people are talking about the Bible because of it.

But before we get into the Bible, let's hear a little bit about both your stories and

we'll start with you Leslie as it's your first time on the program today.
